One year ago, on 30 November 2023, I arrived in Paris direct from NYC. I was incredibly excited and nervous. Starting a new career at an international organization I highly respected that provided me with the legal ability to stay in the city I have always called home. Although, not an easy transition to make, I am incredibly grateful and lucky that I have had amazing friends and family who have supported me throughout.
My opinion remains that Paris is the city for me. After surviving being mugged, hellish tourists and the Paris Olympics, I am certain my love for the city will never dwindle. I have made many incredible new friends here, and still get excited to go walking around and explore the city. I must apologize for not posting as frequently as I once have, but permanently living in Paris reduces the want for screen time.
