Thank to the amazing Dr. Frederick Banting, Dr. Charles Best, Dr. James Collip & Dr. John Macleod Insulin has been available to Type 1 diabetics for 100 years. Insulin became available on April 15, 1923 for Diabetics. These amazing scientists have saved so many lives by discovering and manufacturing insulin and making Type 1 Diabetes a treatable disease and no longer a death sentence as it once was. I have written much about the great doctors, but on this incredible 100 year anniversary I want to again give my many thanks to these awesome scientist and all scientist who are helping others and creating a better world.
