A beautiful place for a picnic. Le Jardin du Luxembourg is a gorgeous park.
If you’ll be visiting Paris, you must plan a trip here. A sunny day is ideal for a picnic, reading a book and just relaxing and playing around with friends. My friends and I tend to grab a few sandwiches, a bottle of wine and a blanket and spend an afternoon here discussing politics and dreams. The statues of the famous French women surrounding the Jardin is a great historical tour of France. Although I like to think I have a proper knowledge of French history, there were a few statues here that even I did not recognize. So make sure that your mobile data is ready to look up these magnificent women.
