Over the last few months I have been searching for a new position based in Paris with a company/organization that is willing to sponsor a work visa for an American citizen. I have applied to hundreds of positions for roles that my skills would prove beneficial. I am also lucky enough to have had a few interviews via phone and zoom for some of these companies. Sadly, none have yet proven beneficial to me.
I do understand that hiring an American and sponsoring a work visa are no simple tasks and I can understand why many companies will not even think about it.
